Mission

In here, any and all Catholics need the growth and learning, because True Faith is a never ending study. We deserve to be able to have One Latin Mass per month, in the future daily.

To uphold the reverence, the glory, and the truth of our Faith during Mass. It maybe High or Low Mass, but it must be reverent.

Description

I am Gathering Information, if Any Would like To Go To a Latin Mass, either the devout or curious in Northwest Kansas.

It is by our Pope, due to Summorum Pontificum that he gives us the opportunity to attend and use the Traditional Latin Mass due it's more devotional, beauty, reverence, and sacredness.
We are doing Newsletters, we are going on our 9th volume and coming August will be our One Year Anniversary since we started this Association; even though not much progress has been done by way of having Mass, much progress I believe has been done by the people beginning to learn the Truth of the Faith and we must keep praying.  Late Sunday, May 17th and early Monday, May 18th, we finished a beautiful letter to the Superior General of the FSSP and to let him know what we are doing and about our situation in our area; with God's help, we will have the Mass the people want and proper reform the Liturgy.  If you want a newsletter and if you are from the USA let us know, if you are from Kansas even better.  Right now we send out about 13 by mail and drop off about 20 or so; depending how many we can print for our drop off in Hays KS.

I would like to share this information for the reason to have the Latin Mass, it's not of our own work but from a beautiful website that has wonderful resources free to use.  Here is the first piece of information called: "What is the Latin Mass?"

If there are any people in Northwest Kansas who are Catholic or interested in seeing a Latin Mass to help them learn about the Catholic Faith, please contact us and we will keep you informed where the first Mass will take place.  For sure we know it will be a Low Mass; the easiest of all Masses for the starting out group.  The booklets for the people to use will be these, http://www.ecclesiadei.org/Booklet%20Missals.htm

Here is another one from Sancta Missa, by Dietrich Von Hildebrand on The Case For The Latin Mass and I hope you enjoy it. http://www.sanctamissa.org/en/spirituality/the-case-for-the-latin-mass.pdf

Here is a beautiful book that inspired Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI to write his own book by the same name, The Spirit of the Liturgy, this book by Romano Guardini is a classic on the Liturgy and here for free thanks to Sancta Missa to read: http://www.sanctamissa.org/en/spirituality/the-spirit-of-the-liturgy.html
Once more, another free book to read online by Sancta Missa, this one is called Calvary and the Mass by Ven. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, if you want to understand the true meaning of the Mass, then read this book.  http://www.sanctamissa.org/en/resources/books/calvary/

Here is one of the most beautiful books ever written on the Liturgy, The Liturgical Year by Dom Prosper Gueranger.

"Holy Church has so arranged the order for reading the Books of Scripture during the present period, as to express the work then accomplished, both in the Church herself, and in the Christian soul. For the interval between Pentecost and the commencement of August, she gives us the Four Books of Kings.
111 Cor. iii. 18.

They are a prophetic epitome of the Church's history. They describe how the kingdom of Israel was founded by David, who is the type of Christ victorious over his enemies, and by Solomon, the king of peace, who builds a temple in honour of Jehovah. During the centuries comprised in the history given in those ]3ooks, there is a perpetual struggle between good and evil. There are great and saintly kings, such as Asa, Ezechias, and Josias; there are wicked ones, like Manasses. A schism breaks out in Samaria; infidel nations league together against the City of God. The holy people, continually turning a deaf ear to the Prophets, give themselves up to the worship of false gods, and to the vices of the heathen; till, at length, the justice of God destroys both Temple and City of the faithless Jerusalem: it is an image of the destruction of this world, when Faith shall be so rare, as that the Son of Man, at his second Coining, shall scarce find a vestige of it remaining."  Make sure you read it and you can online at this link: http://www.liturgialatina.org

'Love above everything the glory of God. May God, infinitely good, be the aim of your words, your thoughts, and your actions.'

St. Ignatius of Loyola

Please Pray for a wonderful Priest who celebrates the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with Great Devotion and Reverence:
